Rule NOT permitted Exceptions
Model must be built as per original Yeoman kit version plan, as produced in 1959 (with AA Hales Logo). Any other derivertive. None.
Pylon must be the same shape as shown on the plan. Swept forward. None.
Wing mounting must be as shown on the plan, including wing band dowels. Modified or reduced size mounts. Dowels can be of wood or metal.
Fin must be the same shape as shown on the plan. Swept back. None.
Wing construction must be the same as shown on the plan. Geodetic construction.
Extra ribs/riblets
Covering supports.
Plywood dihedral braces.
Spruce spars.
Spar webbing.
Tailplane construction must be the same shape as shown on the plan. Geodetic construction.
Extra ribs/riblets.
Covering supports.
None.
Covering  can be of any type. - -
Wire skid can be fitted to minimise DT shock. - -
Engine mounting system can be modified.. i.e. Metal bearers or radial mount.  - -
Fuselage height can be changed to suit engine bearer or mount spacing. - -
IC engines only. Electric motors. None.
Any engine type/size/age. - -
Any fuel and fuel system. - -
Any DT system including minor modifications to the tail mount to suit. - -
Materiel's must be as specified on the plan (local strengthening permitted). - Engine mounting.
Plywood dihedral braces.
Spruce spars.
Spar webbing.
Wing Dowels.
Carbon fibre can be used for field repairs only. Permanent use. None.
Any propeller size/make/materiel. Folding propellers. None.
No moving surfaces Auto rudder, VIT or bunt.
