Rules for Very Small Vintage Rubber
Contest is for pre-1951 designs of 25" (635 mm) wingspan and below.
Model must incorporate
a 2 leg, 2 wheel undercarriage as shown on the
original plan.
Propeller to be any freewheel non-folder of maximum 8" (200 mm.) diameter, regardless of what may be shown on the original plan.
No scaling, up or down.
Models to be hand launched.
GENERAL RULES
Models of proven authenticity, such as
Alan Wiggs's 'Prince Hal' and Albert Hatfull's 'Felix', but which were
published after 31st December 1950, will be allowed to enter.
Proof of authenticity may be requested.
Two flights to a maximum to be decided on
the day, followed by one flight of unlimited duration. Two attempts allowed
to make one flight. Attempt less than 15 seconds may be retaken, but second
attempt to count. If no second attempt is made, first attempt score to
count.
More than one model may be entered by the same competitor.
MAXES
As scoring is by a total of all three flights, it does not matter if a max is dropped on either of the first two flights. It is still possible to win on the final flight, which is unlimited.
